When using "unsigned" feedback on the panel (mobile pro g), it says -36 (set to 2 digits). I have tried both analog and serial, and signed feedback on the analog. So currently the temp is -18F and the "Outside Temp" analog is showing 6536d and the "Outside Temp" serial is showing 6536F. OK, still having issues here, although I haven't called TB yet. Matt, is this the "Davis Vantage PRO 2" module?ĭon't suppose you could save a debugger trace of the data coming in from the weather station? (In hex, not ASCII or mixed) I see what the protocol says, but it would be nice to have some real-world example data.
#Weathersnoop not finding davispro 2 weather station how to
I'm not sure how to post a screen shot on here though. Yes, Davis Vantage Pro2 v1.0 module which can be found in your crestron modules in simpl windows. Or you should be able to save the trace and copy from it You should be able to grab the text from debugger and copy it and paste into your response Both analog and serial outputs of the module indicate the same thing. It's -45F right now) I am getting a temperature value of something like 6543 degrees. Positive temperatures work great, but as soon as the temp goes below 0 (which it does, all the time. Everything works great, but I'm having a problem with negative temperatures. I have implemented an install using a MC3 and a Davis PRO2 weather station utilizing rs-232 communications. That is how in many cases crestron will display a negative number Remember negative numbers will show in your example as 65490 In any case, I'd submit a ticket with TBTS. If you're able to use the analog value instead of the serial, you should be able to set your touch panel object to use a "signed" value. Matt, it's more likely a bug in the module than anything you're doing. Analogs are one thing, but the serial output of the module should be sending something like "-45".
